Barbara J. Puckett is a Future Executive Sales Director from Benton, Arkansas! Keep reading to learn more about her and her Mary Kay journey.
- Barbara became a Mary Kay consultant in February 1976. She went on to work her business and became an Independent Sales Director in July 1978.
- She has been in the Queen’s Court of Sharing & the Queen’s Court of Sales multiple times through the years!
- She has been in the Circle of Achievement for 34 years, leading her team to selling between $200,000-$450,000 each year!
- The Blessings unit has been recognized as the #1 unit in Arkansas TWICE!
- Barbara and the Blessings unit have earned 20+ cars allowing her to drive FREE for over 40 years! (Her favorite car memory was after earning her first car… She called the dealership to ask if they had a Pink Regal sitting on the lot for her to come pick up to which they replied, “We hope not!” But that was the first of many PINK cars Barbara would go on to drive!)
Barbara was personally recruited by National Sales Director Emeritus Rena Tarbet. Rena knew that Barbara’s work ethic she witnessed in Corporate America would serve her well in a Mary Kay business so she persisted and after a company sellout, Rena showed up one more time on Barbara’s door step and Barbara decided to give Mary Kay a try as a hobby for a few months… 42 years later, 3 generations of Mary Kay girls later, and Barbara is still here loving and living her life and legacy!
Barbara has been married to her high school sweetheart Joe for over 60 years! And she has 3 Dynamic children who have wonderful spouses and between them she has 7 amazing grand children!
Barbara is so proud of her First Line Offspring Sales Directors: Awilda Ausbie, Brenda Gibson, Debbie McWilliams, and Jennifer Sloan! As well as her Second Line Sales Directors: Norenda James, Albert Tennpenny, Amy Bowman, Christy Cox, and Sarah Katherine Joseph!
Her favorite Mary Kay song and quote is “It’s not where you start, it’s where you finish, and we’re gonna finish on top!” And she truly believes that the sky is the limit for each person who decides to pursue a Mary Kay business, part time, full time, or for a life time!
